NANP - California Chapter
The California chapter of
the NANP offers the opportunity to make a difference for those who live
and work in California. It provides many local networking opportunities
as we come together in groups to discuss important issues, listen to
guest speakers, and get informed on legislative action at the state
level.
California nutrition
professionals are encouraged to participate in the California chapter.

Calendar Submission
Guidelines:
NANP members wishing to submit a posting to the NANP/CA event calendar
should submit the following information no later than the 25th of the
month prior to the event (for example: for a posting in the April
calendar submissions would need to be received by March 25th). The
monthly calendar can list events for the current month as well as the
first two weeks of the following month (if the current month is April,
events occurring in April and the first two weeks of May can be
submitted for listing). If an event occurs in multiple months it needs
to be resubmitted for each month. The information to include: title of
event, speaker(s), date, time, location, cost, contact info if
applicable, and a brief 3-4 sentence description of the event. The
Calendar will be sent out within the first few days of the event month
to NANP/CA members and others in the nutrition community that comprise
our mailing list. For obvious reasons, the deadline is firm and earlier
entries will take priority over later ones. Please do not use stylized
fonts as they can sometimes create difficulties when reformatting the
information. Arial and Times New Roman are preferred fonts. Send entry
submissions and calendar requirement questions to Carol Sirney at
csirney@sbcglobal.net or Patty Torza at healthworks5@aol.com . The
NANP/CA monthly calendar can also be found on-line at www.nanp.org
We hope to see you at
these events!
